Not everyone needs to hang 650 lbs of winter coats. Most of us need to hang one season's worth of clothing for two people, with a place at the bottom for the shoes that pile up by the door. We built this one for that. The double rods sit at slightly different heights, which means dresses on the top and folded sweaters on the bottom, or one person's wardrobe on each. The lower shelf holds four pairs of boots. The wheels lock, the frame is light enough to reposition alone. We made it for the everyday — the rack you live with, not the rack you store.
